WE MADE IT! The 100 Day Citizenship For All Campaign officially ended on May 1st, 2021.

But, the fight for citizenship for all undocumented immigrants regardless of age, country of origin, or history with incarceration still goes on! Citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants.

We deserve dignity.

There are more than 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States today without a pathway to citizenship.

Without the security of U.S. citizenship, millions of immigrants and their families live with the fear of being separated from their loved ones through deportation, and are denied access to critical public benefits and rights like healthcare, higher education, driver’s licenses, and gainful employment.

No human being should have to live like this, and the solution is simple: we need a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants.

No more deportations.
No more broken promises.
We need citizenship. Now.

Justice delayed is justice denied.

Immigrant communities cannot wait anymore. Every day that the President and Congress fail to legislate a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants is another day that our families and communities are torn apart.

President Biden ran on a campaign promise of legislating in his first 100 days a pathway to citizenship for more than 11 million undocumented immigrants. He now holds the power of the White House. There is no excuse. He must deliver on his promises and act in the first 100 days to legislate real justice for our immigrant communities.

Our demands are clear.

The Biden-Harris administration and Congress must act in the first 100 days to secure:

1) A legislated pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants, regardless of age, country of origin, or criminal background; and

2) An end to all detentions and deportations.

When we organize, we win!

In the words of Frederick Douglass, we know that “power concedes nothing without a demand.” We refuse to watch elected officials continue to squander opportunities to pass meaningful immigration reform.

As such, NAKASEC, HANA Center, Korean Resource Center, Woori Center, and Minkwon Center are launching our national “Citizenship for All: 100 Days Campaign” to ensure that the Biden administration and Congress delivers on his promises to legislate citizenship for all in his first 100 days. Our multifaceted strategy is designed to create the urgency and pressure necessary to hold elected officials accountable to our immigrant communities!

“When we view liberation as a scarce resource, something only a precious few of us can have, we stifle our potential, our creativity, our genius for living, learning, and growing.”
